FacilitiesThe club has a resident caretaker and access during the season is available during the day and by arrangement with the caretaker outside normal hours.
All members receive a key tag which gains access to the club site and is updated annually on payment of the annual fee.The caretaker can be contacted on the phone number given in the contacts list.
The main block has hot shower and toilets and changing rooms.
There is a fully licensed bar on site and food is available from the kitchen on weekends
Bar opening times are:
Friday 20:00-23:00
Saturday 12:00-23:00
Sunday 12:00-22:30
The bar has most beers on tap and bottled beers are also stocked.
There are various social events during the year and you can check on dates and times via the on line calendar.
The compound is fully lit during the night and protected by a laser security system and CCTV outside of normal hours.
There are hard standing spaces availale for PWC users with adjacent individual washdown and electric points.
For members with boats there are washdown facilities and electric points.
The compound has two ramps to the sea with individual winches for use in recovery and launch.
It is usual for members to launch using their own launch vehicle which can be a road vehicle or its possible to use a non road vehicle kept on site in a separate enclosed compound.[Note that there is a separate nominal charge for storage during the year]
Access to the sea is up to three hours each side of high tide depending on the current tides.
We draw members attention to the SAFETY RULES concerning the ramps and use thereof.
