It is with extreme Sadness and regret for Allhallows Yacht club to announce the tragic death of one of its most loyal members. Alex lost his life in an unfortunate power boat racing accident at Dover on the 8th of August 2009.

From an early age Alex's life had revolved around the sea. His Grandfather had bought him his first boat in which they had explored the Kent Estuary. He had fond memories of those times and would often recall those events and experiences.

To Allhallows Yacht Club he was not just a member, more a part of the framework that determines the making of a club. Ever willing to participate in any event or to lend his skill as a carpenter Alex was someone who was trusted and respected.

Alex lived life to the full and I feel sure that he would like everyone to continue in doing what he knew and loved the most.
